Disclosure: Bear in mind that some of the links in this post are affiliate links and if you go through them to make a purchase I will earn a commission. Keep in mind that I link these companies and their products because of their quality and not because of the commission I receive from your purchases. The decision is yours, and whether or not you decide to buy something is completely up to you.
So, What Is The 12 Minute Affiliate?
Before we started , I want to tell you what The 12 Minute Affiliate is exactly. According to the site, it is a simple plug-and-play system that makes affiliate marketing the easy money maker that people have always promised it to be. Now, if that sounds as vague to you as it did to me then don’t worry. We’ll get into more detail as we move along.
Who Created The 12 Minute Affiliate?
Devon Brown, the brains behind this moneymaking system, is a very charismatic human being. When I first heard him speak about his program, I thought either he makes his coffee way too strong or he is super passionate about his affiliate marketing program. Something tells me it is a combination of both.
Nevertheless, he comes across as a genuine person who honestly wants to see people succeed, hence why he made this program. Devon also says the inspiration behind 12 Minute Affiliate comes from countless dollars he wasted with other affiliate programs. All the failures eventually helped him create an efficient system that helps affiliate marketers generate more money easily. The outcome of all this is a program that people are now going crazy about.
When listening to Devon’s personal webinar on the 12 Minute Affiliate system, I was surprised to hear him mention the disclaimers about his program. Few people do this. They rather have you believe their program is a flawless, fine-tuned, money-making machine. Devon doesn’t do this, however. He mentions there is “no guarantee that you’ll make any specific amount of money and that specific results will vary.” He says “ultimately your success is up to YOU.”
I felt like this was a very reasonable disclaimer and that it needed to be mentioned. Too often we set our expectations extremely high only to be left disappointed when they aren’t met. Although this is a trusted system (or at least claims to be) there are no guarantees on results. Personally, I applaud Devon’s cadidness because it keeps us buyers with realistic expectations.
Who is the 12 Minute Affiliate Program For?
Now that we know this program isn’t guaranteed to make us money, let’s talk about the audience it’s geared towards. The list below is from Devon himself. See if you fit into any of the criteria.
The 12 Minute Affiliate Program is for:
- Anyone who wants to make money online without having to create and fulfill their own products or services
- Anyone who wants to have a system that can make them daily commissions
- Anyone who is not tech-savvy and wants the easy button for tech-stuff
- Anyone who doesn’t want to write their own sales copy, or create their own sales funnels
- Anyone with a JVZoo, ClickBank, or Warrior + account
- Anyone who is in a network marketing program.
- Anyone who doesn’t want to deal with customer support
- Anyone who wants an online business up and running in a multi-million dollar niche in as little as 12 minutes
- Anyone who wants to see results as early as this week
- Anyone who has no clue what they are doing
- Anyone who is struggling to make money online for over 6 months (and is looking for something real)
Did any of that describe you? Of course it did, and that is the point! 12 Minute Affiliate is created for all affiliate marketers, regardless of experience and skill level. However, the program does seem more geared towards those who are looking for something quick and simple to use.
The only thing I dont like is the claim that one will “see results as early as this week.” I’m not saying that it isn’t possible but, the likelyhood you’ll see results so quickly, is low. Yet, if 12 Minute Affiliate can deliver on even a fraction of its promises, it can prove to be incredibly valuable.
12 Minute Affiliate’s 3 Affiliate Secrets
During the webinar, Devon mentioned the three secrets he had to learn before becoming successful with affiliate marketing. These three secrets not only changed the way he now views affiliate marketing, they also became the ingredients that lead to the “success” of this program. Personally, I find the secrets insightful. I think you guys will benefit from knowing them.
Secret 1
People never usually purchase a product the first time they see an offer; therefore, never buy traffic and send it directly to an offer.
Secret 2
The fortune is in the follow-up. Once you capture someone’s email address, set up an auto-responder to automatically send follow up messages offering clients different products within the same niche.
Secret 3
use a bridge page that serves as the intermediary between the original source page and your affiliate offer. You can think of your bridge page as a pre-sell page that butters your clients up.
If these methods are old news to you, then just consider this a friendly reminder. But, if this is your first time hearing these secrets, try to follow them and see what kind of success they get you.
How 12 Minute Affiliate Uses these Secrets:
With the previously mentioned secrets in mind, this program claims to simplify them even further. Without having to do any of the heavy lifting, 12 Minute Affiliate “does all the work” for clients. If you are naturally skeptical like me, then you are probably already waiting for the “yeah, but” moment. So, let’s take a look at what Devon calls 12 Minute Affiliate’s Three Shortcuts To Success:
- Shortcut 1: Instead of combing through ClickBank (or your preferred affiliate network) trying to find the most profitable product, in the best niche, 12 Minute Affiliate does the searching for you. In the program, there is a tab that shows the top-selling products in the niche of your choice.
- Shortcut 2: Once you find the products you want to promote, enter the affiliate links into the 12 Minute Affiliate System. Once you capture someone’s email, the program’s auto-responder will automatically send follow up messages, offering different products to your mailing list.
- Shortcut 3: Instead of messing with Ad websites like Facebook and Google, which has a bit of a learning curve, this program has what they call, Done-For-You Traffic. All you have to do is choose the niche you want to promote, and the program will send traffic to you based on the number of clicks/visitors you want. Of course, this is paid traffic, meaning it will cost you, but you decide how much.
How Much Does 12 Minute Affiliate Cost:
At this point, you are probably wondering how much does a program that basically does everything for you cost?
1. Basic Membership: You might be as surprised as I was but the cost of this plan is $47/month or a One-Time purchase of $397. With the basic membership, you get landing pages, products they recommend promoting, and email templates for one of the three choice niches (Online Business, Personal Development, And Health/Fitness)
2. Gold Membership: This plan, twice the original price, cost users $97/month or a One-Time purchase of $797. With the Gold Package, you get all three niches.
3. Upsales and Additional Cost: 12 Minute Affiliate wouldn’t be complete without a few additional offers on the back end. The program offers 1-on-1 coaching, site set-up, and Auto Responder set-up all at an additional cost. I would recommend trying to learn the program on your own first before paying for these services. Once you learn it, the process will become easier in the future.
Final Thoughts And Conclusion:
From what I learned about this program it seems almost too good to be true. But after hearing Devon Brown’s webinar I can tell he is very passionate about his product and its capabilities. He is someone who had to learn the ins and outs of affiliate marking through trial and error. His program was created to reduce those errors.
12 Minute Affiliate is a very basic introduction to affiliate marketing, using email marketing as the core method for generating traffic and getting sales. If anything, I would use this program as a starting point for new affiliate marketers. Let it generate you some sales (or not) and then reevaluate your use of it. I don’t think this program is a scam; however, I recommend you go into it with realistic expectations. You probably won’t make $100 dollars off your first sale, or in your first week for that matter. But, if you learn from the program and implement what it teaches, I believe you can be successful.
